◎ Modern Heritage ◎

In the midst of an unsettling reality marked by the pandemic, climate crises, and global conflicts, people have begun to pay greater attention to their roots and identity. As a result, the value of “things that have endured over time” has been rediscovered, and an increasing number of individuals are drawn to the narratives embedded in history. Beyond simple nostalgia, Modern Heritage—a reinterpretation of tradition through a contemporary lens—has emerged as a central trend. In the cosmetics industry, Modern Heritage refers to reinterpreting a brand’s heritage while incorporating advanced technology, sustainability, and aesthetic innovation to create a modern sensibility.

Traditionally, cosmetics have been shaped by natural ingredients, skin-healing practices, and diverse beauty cultures. Modern Heritage inherits these traditional materials and manufacturing philosophies, while integrating the latest trends such as AI and biotechnology, personalized formulations, and clean beauty, thereby creating new forms of value. For example, it may involve scientifically validating the strengths of traditional herbal or fermented cosmetics, or reintroducing past design icons by harmonizing them with contemporary minimalism.

Ultimately, Modern Heritage is not merely a “reinterpretation of the past,” but a forward-looking brand-building strategy where identity and technological innovation coexist. It represents a crucial direction that global K-Beauty brands must adopt in order to achieve sustainable growth.

◎ My Story of Escaping Hair Loss ◎

I struggled with crown hair loss for 10 years, trying countless cosmetics and procedures. However, I saw little effect, and I am writing this in the hope that others with the same concern will not be misled by exaggerated advertisements and waste unnecessary time and money. Since I eventually found a method that worked, I want to share it with you, so please read until the end and I hope it helps.

I am a 38-year-old woman who has been working at the same company for 11 years. After being promoted to assistant manager, my workload and late-night shifts increased, and my hair loss gradually worsened. One day, a friend jokingly said to me, “Why has your hair loss gotten so bad lately?” That remark became the turning point that led me to study hair loss seriously.

Since then, I became obsessed with checking the top of my head every day and compulsively taking scalp photos. This only made my stress worse, which in turn accelerated my hair loss. During that period, I even avoided going out because I was so conscious of other people’s eyes. Eventually, I realized, “I can’t go on like this,” and began researching the root causes of hair loss and scalp care. After dedicating my evenings, weekends, and holidays for a year, trying various products and supplements, I finally discovered the key to hair loss as follows.

The Core Realization About Hair Loss

First, although medication and injection treatments may bring fast results, they require lifelong use and carry serious side effects, so I chose not to pursue them.

Second, I learned that the fundamental cause of hair loss is scalp aging. Ultraviolet rays, fine dust, stress, and scalp heat generate reactive oxygen species that damage cells and tissues, leading to inflammation and aging. As a result, hair becomes thinner and falls out easily. In other words, it is not only age and genetics but also environmental factors that accelerate scalp aging.

Therefore, the true solution was to delay scalp aging. After testing numerous products, I concluded that the answer was not “shampoos with many good ingredients,” but rather shampoos without harmful ingredients. Many companies use cheap raw materials to cut costs, but long-term use of such ingredients causes scalp dryness and eventually worsens hair loss.

Proven Personal Experience

Through an acquaintance, I came across K Cosmetic Inc.’s hair-loss prevention shampoo, edible pill, and hair tonic. After using them, I actually saw results. Among all the products I have tried, these were the only ones that proved effective, which is why I am sharing this. I sincerely hope that those who are struggling with hair loss, like I once did, can restore healthy scalps and hair through accurate information. With that, I would like to conclude my story.

◎ Balance of Absorption and Calm: The Perfect Harmony Between Serum and Cream ◎

The serum absorbs swiftly the moment it touches the skin, visibly refining rough texture and leaving the complexion smoother and more polished. It delivers a deep, penetrating hydration that feels as though it spreads from within, gradually softening the skin’s surface layer as time passes. The cream, applied morning and night, gently envelops the skin and helps soothe sensitivity caused by daily environmental stressors. Its silky application makes the process itself feel like a calming ritual, providing a comforting sense of relief with every use.

When the two products are used consistently together, their benefits become even more pronounced. The serum strengthens the skin’s foundation with its immediate absorption, while the cream locks in moisture and nutrients, amplifying the overall synergistic effect. With daily use, the skin becomes noticeably more balanced—calmer in tone, firmer in elasticity, smoother in texture, and more radiant overall. For these reasons, this duo stands out as a reliable and stable daily skincare combination that can be confidently recommended.

◎ K-Beauty Takes Center Stage at CES as the U.S. Becomes Korea’s No.1 Export Market ◎

This coming January, leading K-beauty companies will make a full-scale appearance at CES 2026, the world’s largest IT and home appliance exhibition held in Las Vegas. While global big-tech firms—once the main attraction of CES—are reducing their presence due to diminishing marketing returns, Korean beauty brands are treating CES as a strategic stage to deepen their penetration into the U.S., which has recently become their largest export destination.

4.jpg
The move by K-beauty firms contrasts sharply with recent trends among big-tech companies. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, CES was known as a battleground for cutting-edge technologies, with Nvidia, Intel, Google, and other giants participating in force. However, its prestige is no longer what it once was. With many companies concluding that the promotional impact no longer justifies the cost, a growing number are scaling down their booths or withdrawing entirely. Depending on size and location, booth construction and participation costs can reach tens of billions of won. Even major Korean conglomerates such as Samsung Electronics, SK, and Hyundai Motor are reducing their booth sizes and adjusting their stCES rateges.

K-beauty companies, however, are doubling down on CES because the United States has emerged as their most important market. According to the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, cumulative Korean cosmetics exports to the U.S. reached USD 1.67 billion (approximately KRW 2.46 trillion) in the first three quarters of this year—an 18.1% increase from the previous year—surpassing China (USD 1.58 billion) to become Korea’s No.1 export destination.

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of CES, has also turned its attention to K-beauty tech. Earlier this year, CTA introduced a new Beauty Techcategory in the CES Innovation Awards. In CES 2026, the awardees in this category include LG Household & Health Care, Cosmax, and Amorepacific—all Korean companies (Korea Economic Daily, Nov. 25, 2025).
